Job Summary: The Bulk Receiving Operator is responsible for preparing trucks, railcars, and barges for the loading and unloading of bulk materials, ensuring efficient and safe operations. Key Highlights: 1. Preparing vehicles for loading and unloading with constant supervision and guidance. 2. Conducting ingredient testing and collecting product samples. 3. Strictly adhering to safety policies and procedures. The **Bulk Receiving Operator** is responsible for preparing trucks, railcars, and barges for the loading and unloading of bulk materials, following established policies and procedures and working under frequent guidance. In this role, you will ensure that material handling and storage operations are conducted efficiently and safely, strictly complying with applicable safety policies, procedures, regulations, and standards. Responsibilities: * Execute complete manual procedures for preparing vehicles or railcars for loading and unloading, including opening hatches and doors, as well as coupling and positioning pumps under constant supervision and guidance. * Conduct ingredient testing and collect product samples in accordance with established standards. * Complete loading and unloading process inspections, as well as quality documentation and records—both manually and via electronic systems. * Understand and strictly comply with all safety policies and procedures, including proper use and application of lockout/tagout equipment labels. * Knowledge and experience operating forklifts. * Possession of DC3 license and current driver’s license. * Other duties as assigned. Requirements: * Minimum age of 18 years. * Ability to perform physical tasks such as bending, climbing stairs, kneeling, squatting, or twisting safely, with or without reasonable accommodation. * Ability to work in various environments where noise, dust, chemicals, etc., may be present, using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). * Educational level: completed secondary school. * Availability to work overtime, including weekends, holidays, or alternate shifts, with prior notice. * Ability to work at elevated locations (1.20 meters or higher). * Ability to handle loads up to 25 kilograms. * Ability to operate industrial machinery and/or equipment, with or without reasonable accommodations. * Prior experience with inventory systems. * Six months of prior experience in production-related tasks. * Certification to operate forklifts. * Experience using computers. * Experience with SAP or a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS). * Practical knowledge of Microsoft Office software, such as Excel and Word. * Prior experience with inventory systems. Salary: $11,000.00 - $12,000.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
