**We're looking for a Warehouse Keeper for Industrial Cafeteria!** -------------------------------------------------- Do you have excellent inventory control and experience handling food and perishable goods? We want you to join our team! We are seeking a proactive and organized **Warehouse Keeper** to manage the warehouse and supplies for our industrial cafeteria. Your role will be vital in ensuring the kitchen area always has the necessary products, with the required quality and freshness. ### **Key Responsibilities:** * **Receiving and Verification:** Receive, inspect, and record goods (dry food, perishables, cleaning supplies, etc.), ensuring they meet requested quality and quantity specifications. * **Storage and Control:** Organize the warehouse, refrigeration, and freezer chambers, strictly applying the **FIFO (First In, First Out)** system. * **Inventories:** Perform accurate daily, weekly, and monthly physical inventories. * **Temperature Control:** Monitor and record daily temperatures of storage areas (cold rooms and freezers). * **Order Fulfillment:** Prepare and deliver supply orders to kitchen and pastry areas based on menus and daily production. * **Hygiene:** Keep the warehouse and storage areas clean, organized, and disinfected, complying with hygiene and safety standards. ### **Essential Requirements:** * **Proven experience of at least 1\-2 years** as a Warehouse Keeper, Storekeeper, or Warehouse Assistant, **preferably in the food industry (cafeterias, hotels, large restaurants)**. * Mandatory knowledge and use of inventory systems **FIFO (First In, First Out)**. * Knowledge of handling and storing perishable products. * Proficiency in Office software (Excel) for recording entries and exits. * Honest, organized, methodical person with attention to detail. ### **We Offer:** * Weekly salary of $2800 net * Optional savings fund * 100% statutory benefits * Ongoing training in food handling and safety. * Free transportation Free cafeteria * **Location: Castro del Rio industrial plant**
