Kromberg & Schubert Irapuato plant is looking for your talent — we invite you to join us as: MATERIALS PLANNER JOB MISSION: Ensure timely supply of production materials to the plant through proper use of the material control system, coordinating supplier shipments without incurring premium freight charges. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Industrial Engineering, Bachelor’s Degree in International Trade, or Bachelor’s Degree in International Business. 3 years of experience in materials area or 2 years as a follower. Experience in the automotive industry. TECHNICAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency Wire Kanban knowledge preferred Supply chain Inventory management · KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Achieve assigned raw material and finished product inventory levels, budgets, and objectives. Manage extraordinary freight charges for raw materials and finished product planning within the system. Monitor project launches and completions, and engineering changes (raw materials and finished products). Issue and track raw material requirements to suppliers. Implement corrective actions in case of material shortages (e.g., special shipments, supplier replacement, stock control, vacation reduction, etc.). Initiate work orders and coordinate delivery details with suppliers. WE OFFER: Competitive salary.
