Kromberg \& Schubert Irapuato plant is looking for your talent—we invite you to join us as: MATERIALS PLANNER JOB MISSION: Ensure timely supply of production materials to the plant through proper use of the material control system, coordinating supplier shipments without incurring premium freight. REQUIREMENTS: * Education: Industrial Engineering, Bachelor’s Degree in International Trade, or Bachelor’s Degree in International Business. * 3 years of experience in materials area or 2 years as a follower. * Experience in the automotive industry. TECHNICAL SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: * Advanced Office software proficiency * Knowledge of Wire Kanban preferred * Supply chain * Inventory management MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES: * Meet assigned raw material and finished goods inventory levels, budgets, and objectives. * Manage expedited freight for raw materials and finished goods planning within the system. * Control project launch and completion, as well as engineering changes (raw materials and finished goods). * Issue and track requirements to raw material suppliers. * Implement corrective actions in case of material shortages (e.g., special shipments, supplier replacement, stock control, vacation reduction, etc.). * Initiate work orders and coordinate delivery details with suppliers.
