Our global team is made of dreamers, doers and innovators who are Delivering POWER for a safer, brighter and more sustainable tomorrow. **Job Posting Title** HR Generalist \- Transportation Services**Job Description Summary** Bachelor's degree in Industrial Relations, Business Management, Administration or related field with at least 2 years of experience in a similar position in the automotive industry, knowledge of budget management, proficiency in Office software, personnel administration and interaction with suppliers.**Job Description** * Collect the production schedule per shift for the upcoming week (including weekends) for services at GMC, P6, SMF and LCMF plants during weekends and holidays. * Promote and participate in audits to evaluate service quality and vehicle conditions together with Human Resources representatives from each plant. * Coordinate and participate in weekly meetings with transportation service representatives to review incident statistics, audit results, action plans and improvement initiatives. * Monitor, manage and record weekly expenses, sharing them with relevant departments (Finance, HRBPs, Purchasing, Manager, Director), ensuring monthly closing. * Generate monthly service requisitions for various suppliers, following through until completion of the approval cycle. (Operational Transportation and Taxi) * Follow up on maintenance of transportation vehicles. * Manage Budget and Checkbook. * Update monthly scorecard with area KPOs (incidents, vacancies, complete vehicle fleet). * Schedule vehicles for company events. * Ensure compliance with supplier commercial contracts and/or service agreements. * Provide new associates with orientation regarding employee transportation. * Ensure resolution of reports issued by transportation users. * Conduct bi-monthly satisfaction surveys. * Validate pre-invoices issued by the supplier. * Participate in transportation service bidding processes. * Prepare presentations for managerial staff. **Required Skills and Education** * Bachelor’s degree, 2 years of experience in similar roles or in HR department. * Experience in the automotive industry desirable. * Experience in budget management. * Proficiency in Office Suite / CMS, Oracle. * Experience working with suppliers. **About AAM:** As a leading global Tier 1 Automotive and Mobility Supplier, AAM designs, engineers and manufactures Driveline and Metal Forming technologies to support electric, hybrid and internal combustion vehicles.
