Our global team is made of dreamers, doers and innovators who are Delivering POWER for a safer, brighter and more sustainable tomorrow. **Job Posting Title** Manufacturing Engineer**Job Description Summary** Mechanical, electromechanical, mechatronic or related engineer, with a minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in the automotive industry in this role, working in assembly line processes, experience with Lean tools and Core Tools, monitoring and improving indicators, problem solving, establishing manufacturing processes and systems for producing our products, as well as monitoring and improving existing processes, participating in planning, design, integration and validation of these. **Job Description** * Develop process sheets, error proofing and work instructions. * Conduct team meetings through review of indicators such as: FTQ, weekly production report, OEE, machining line indicators, as well as machining processes, 7D's, LPA, generate action plans for low CPK per machine and reduction of cutting tool costs. * Actively participate in scrap reduction. * Knowledge of the Assembly process (automotive parts). * Maintain and develop process FMEAs. * Develop and implement training for "job setter." * Propose, develop, implement and verify savings from a PIP. * Manage and control engineering changes. * Execute continuous improvement. * Reduce tooling costs. * Administer and control line documentation. * Perform parameter audits. * Establish tooling maintenance schedules. * Ensure the safety of assigned associates. **Required Skills and Education** * Electronic, Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineer with conversational English. * 2 to 5 years of experience in metalworking industry. * Experience in the Assembly process. * Required technical knowledge: problem analysis, AutoCAD 2D, GD\&T, Core Tools, 3D Design. * Desired technical knowledge: PLC programming, welding process, Fanuc robot programming. * Competencies: analytical ability, teamwork, time management, decision-making ability, problem solving, initiative and leadership. 1• Availability to work weekends. **About AAM:** As a leading global Tier 1 Automotive and Mobility Supplier, AAM designs, engineers and manufactures Driveline and Metal Forming technologies to support electric, hybrid and internal combustion vehicles.
