EDUCATION: High school diploma and customs technician training
AGE: 18 to 45 years old
EXPERIENCE: 2 years in the traffic department
OBJECTIVE:
Develop all foreign trade operations, from document receipt through customs clearance, and provide customer service.
KNOWLEDGE:
a) Proficiency in PC applications (Word, Excel).
b) Internet usage.
c) Foreign Trade Laws.
d) Customs Traffic Procedures.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Confirm with the importer that final shipment documents are correct.
* Open reference files, assign customs entry numbers, and verify documents.
* Verify bills of lading (B/L), dates, and requirements for revalidation.
* Report B/L dates and requirements to customers.
* Deliver revalidated documents to customs agents / Dispatch Coordinator for pre-arrival scheduling.
* Maintain the traffic board up to date to generate daily status reports for customers.
* Send proformas and quotations to customers.
* Execute assigned customers' operations timely and accurately.
* Send email requests to generate purchase orders (OP) in the system for taxes and expenses, as well as fund requests to Treasury.
Employment Type: Full-time
Salary: $16,000.00 per month
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday and Saturdays
