Participation in quality improvement projects JOB PURPOSE: Contribute to ensuring product and process quality within the area of responsibility. JOB SPECIFICS: * Coordinate or perform calibration, verification, or maintenance of inspection, measurement, and test equipment in operational areas under quality assurance responsibility. * Establish calibration frequencies and comply with frequencies already defined by OS to ensure equipment reliability. * Coordinate and support the certification of operators assigned quality-related functions. * Ensure that operations understand the analyses and delegated functions from quality. * Manage area indicators (HARA), as well as ensure availability of information related to the process and its indicators. * Drive and participate in quality area improvement projects as both initiator and driving force. * Determine who will be responsible for executing each activity. * Define calibration, verification, or maintenance frequencies for equipment not covered by minimum frequency requirements. * Actions to take based on evaluation results, both individually (for an operator) and generally (broad opportunity areas). * Coordinate activities required for compliance with the LSS system.
