




**Position Title** WWTP & Reverse Osmosis Technician **Reports To** WWTP Engineer **Department** EHS / WWTP **Location** Monterrey Plant (Escobedo) **Position Purpose** Maintain the operation of reverse osmosis systems and wastewater treatment plant within specified parameters, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and plant requirements. Comply with GMP standards to ensure product safety and quality. Know, comply with, and maintain safety, health, and environmental requirements. **Summary of Key Activities** Adjust operational equipment settings such as flow rates, pressures, chemical dosages, and system monitoring. Perform physicochemical analyses and interpret laboratory results. Maintain order and cleanliness in operational areas. Prepare chemicals for the process. Report equipment damages and follow up on repairs and maintenance. Perform preventive maintenance in the area (pumping equipment, valves, sensors, electrical panels, hydraulic systems, plumbing, etc.). Segregate waste generated in the area. Complete operation and maintenance logs. Daily reporting of organic load and plant potable water consumption. Participate in environmental projects aimed at sludge reduction and resource optimization. Participate in water conservation campaigns and Green Team activities. Conduct inductions for new personnel. Participate in daily DDS meetings. **Main Job Challenges** Compliance with environmental regulations regarding potable water and wastewater. This position requires physical fitness to perform outdoor tasks; monitoring and adjustments are conducted outdoors. ***Specific Knowledge***: * Knowledge of electricity, mechanics, and plumbing * Experience operating wastewater treatment plants with aerobic and/or anaerobic systems * Knowledge of reverse osmosis operation * Knowledge of water purification * Familiarity with NOM-001-SEMARNAT, NOM-127SSA1 regulations * **BE Food Safety Certification** ***Skills/Destrezas:*** * Ability to work under pressure * Analytical skills * Action-oriented * Conflict management and problem-solving skills **Education** Technical degree in Water Treatment or related field. **Experience** 1 year of experience in aerobic treatment systems and reverse osmosis.
