**Position Title** Jr Analyst Raw \& Packaging **Position to which reports** Raw \& Pack Receiving **Department** QA Laboratory **Location** Monterrey Plant (Escobedo) **Position Purpose** Ensure compliance with quality programs in the receipt and storage of packaging materials, as well as guarantee warehouse visibility of Approved Suppliers. Investigate non-conforming material reports to ensure proper rejection and follow-up. Ensure proper follow-up on packaging material changes; new item, new version, or supplier change. Generate FERTs upon Corporate request for accurate weight and dimension information of Finished Product. Comply with GMP standards to ensure product safety and quality. Know, comply with, and maintain applicable Safety, Health, and Environmental requirements for the position. **Summary of Key Activities** Administer the quality program for receipt and storage of packaging materials (box inspections, seal verification, approved suppliers, etc.) Manage the SAP system for review, traceability, and investigation of packaging materials and their follow-up. In case of non-conforming material, generate the corresponding report, enter information into the QIMS system, and follow up with involved areas for closure. Maintain supplier incident statistics for packaging materials, generating action plans and problem-solving initiatives aimed at eliminating incidents, as well as supporting production lines when deviations occur. Review inventory status for raw materials and packaging in Q and S status; jointly with warehouse, ensure FIFO or FEFO rotation (as applicable) through SAP system and physical checks, support prevention and control of expired, obsolete, damaged, rejected, or trial materials by performing system locks. Attend PLM meetings to follow up on projects related to packaging materials; new item, supplier change, or new packaging version. Ensure regulatory compliance of labels prior to launch of new products (nutritional table, precautionary statements, special programs such as Gluten Free, Kosher, denomination of origin). Provide support in conducting tests for review, verification, and validation of plant packaging material specifications and preparation of FERTs. Actively participate in internal and external audits at the plant. Provide support during visits from packaging material suppliers. Take packaging material samples upon request from supplier, corporate, or audits. Support shipment of samples to Suppliers and/or Corporate ***Specific Knowledge******:*** * SQF/FSSC22000/BRC or equivalent auditor * GMP/HACCP / FDA/SQF/ Kosher / PEP * Knowledge of policies and current regulations * Basic knowledge of manufacturing and administrative processes * Root cause analysis tools * Knowledge of ingredient and packaging material manufacturing processes. * Experience with sampling plans and testing applied to ingredients and packaging materials. * English 80%, Office Suite, and SAP * Basic knowledge in SQM * Be Food Safety certification * Security (CTPAT) * Good maintenance practices * Engineering (PLM usage) Good storage practices ***Competencies:*** * .
