***Education:*** Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Design, Design and Manufacturing, or related field. ***Experience:*** Minimum of 3 years in mechanical design and manufacturing areas. ***Objective:*** To design, develop, and improve mechanical components, parts, systems, and products for the manufacturing industry by applying knowledge of **SolidWorks (intermediate\-advanced)** design and CNC machining processes, ensuring that designs are manufacturable, efficient, safe, and meet quality requirements and applicable regulations. ***Responsibilities:*** * Create 3D models, assemblies, and technical drawings in SolidWorks, ensuring accuracy and manufacturability. * Define **mechanical manufacturing processes (turning, milling, CNC, general machining)** for each design. * Generate and maintain updated drawings, bills of materials (BOM), and technical documentation. * Perform tolerance, stress, and simulation analyses in SolidWorks. * Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to ensure **manufacturability and functionality** of designs. * Design and develop tooling, fixtures, and support equipment for manufacturing processes. * Participate in the installation, pilot testing, and validation of prototypes at the plant. * Propose improvements to products and processes to reduce costs, manufacturing times, and waste. * Ensure designs comply with applicable quality and safety standards. * Provide technical support for issues related to design or manufacturing.
