Job Summary: We are seeking a Driver/Operator for MYN Distribuidora S.A. de C.V., responsible for loading, transportation, delivery, and securing of products, with a strong focus on hygiene and biosafety. Key Highlights: 1. Loading, verification, and securing of cargo. 2. Delivery and unloading at destination, with customer service. 3. Document management and compliance with biosafety protocols. Product Loading and Securing (At Plant) Manual bag loading: Load bags of balanced feed (typically weighing between 50 and 25 kg each) onto the truck in an orderly manner. Cargo verification: Verify against the delivery order that the type of feed (for poultry, swine, cattle, etc.), tonnage, and number of bags are correct. Cargo securing: Properly stack the load to prevent bags from shifting, tearing, or getting wet during transit. Safely and efficiently operate the 10-ton vehicle along assigned routes. Itinerary compliance: Adhere to scheduled delivery times and report any delays due to traffic, weather, or roadblocks. Truck monitoring: Check oil, water, tire, and brake levels before departure to ensure the vehicle does not break down on the highway. Delivery and Unloading (At Destination / Farms / Distributors) Unloading maneuver: Deliver feed bags to customers’ warehouses, veterinary clinics, or directly to farm feeders/warehouses. Delivery inspection: Ensure products arrive clean, dry, and with fully sealed packaging. Customer service: Provide courteous service to buyers and address basic questions regarding cargo delivery. Documentary and Administrative Control Signature and seal management: Collect signatures and seals of receipt on invoices or delivery notes. Cash collection (if applicable): Occasionally safeguard and deliver cash or checks if the customer pays upon delivery. Trip logbook: Record driving times, rest periods, toll expenses, and fuel refills. Hygiene and Biosafety (Critical in this sector) Vehicle cleaning: Maintain cleanliness of the cab and truck bed, and ensure freedom from pests (rodents or insects) that could contaminate animal feed. Biosafety compliance: Follow sanitary protocols when entering farms (e.g., passing the truck through disinfection arches or sanitary mats) to prevent disease transmission among livestock or poultry zones.
