**Job Profile: Procurement Technician – Electrical Projects** **Job Objective:** Efficiently manage the procurement of materials, equipment, and services required for electrical projects, ensuring optimal cost\-benefit ratio, compliance with technical specifications, and adherence to project schedule deadlines. **Key Responsibilities:** * Receive and validate material requisitions from engineering, construction, or warehouse departments. * Request, compare, and analyze quotations from various suppliers in the electrical sector. * Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules to optimize costs. * Prepare purchase orders and track them until final material delivery on site. * Coordinate logistics for receipt, delivery, and returns jointly with warehouse and supervision teams. * Maintain up\-to\-date documentation control for quotations, purchase orders, and invoices. * Verify that materials comply with applicable technical specifications and regulations (NOM, NEC, IEC, etc.). * Support project managers in procurement planning aligned with construction progress. * Evaluate and monitor supplier performance. * Participate in cost optimization strategies and continuous improvement of the procurement process. **Required Knowledge:** * Low\- and medium\-voltage electrical materials and equipment. * Procurement and supply chain processes. * Applicable electrical standards and specifications. * Budget control and comparative cost analysis. * Proficiency in ERP systems or procurement platforms. * Intermediate/advanced Excel skills. **Skills and Competencies:** * Negotiation and effective communication. * Planning and organization. * Teamwork and results orientation. * Attention to detail and follow\-up capability. * Analytical ability and decision\-making capacity. * Integrity and sense of responsibility. **Academic Qualifications:** * **Technical degree or completed/incomplete engineering program** in Electricity, Electromechanics, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, or related field. **Experience:** * **2 to 3 years** of experience in technical or industrial procurement, preferably within the electrical, construction, or energy sectors (e.g., solar panels, substations, electrical installations, etc.).
