We ship systems that run in production and matter. **The Role** We are looking for a **Software Engineering Lead** who can own technical delivery across multiple projects. This is a hybrid role combining: * **Technical leadership** (architecture, standards, solving complex problems) * **Delivery coordination** (planning, prioritization, cross\-team communication) You will guide fullstack, backend, and frontend engineers while working closely with product, company leadership, and occasionally clients.This is not a pure management role. We expect strong technical judgment and hands\-on involvement when needed. **Responsibilities** * Lead technical execution across multiple software projects. * Translate product and business requirements into clear technical plans. * Define and enforce engineering standards (architecture, testing, CI/CD, security, performance). * Remove technical blockers and step in when complex issues require senior intervention. * Coordinate sprint planning, estimations, releases, and milestones. * Communicate progress and trade\-offs with product teams and leadership. * Ensure documentation and knowledge transfer to avoid single points of failure. * Continuously improve development processes and engineering quality. **What We’re Looking For** * Experience leading engineers (formally or informally) in production environments. * Strong software development background (you’ve built and shipped real systems). * Solid architectural judgment and ability to evaluate trade\-offs. * Experience collaborating with product and non\-technical stakeholders. * Clear communicator who can explain technical decisions to business teams. * Ownership mindset — you take responsibility for outcomes, not just tasks. **Technical Background (Ideal)** 4\+ years building production software. * Experience with modern web stacks, such as: * + Backend: Node.js, Python, Java, or Go + Frontend: React / Next.js + APIs: REST / GraphQL Databases: PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar + Strong Git workflow and code review practices. * Experience with CI/CD pipelines. * Cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure). * * Docker experience (Kubernetes is a plus). **What Makes This Role Different** * High ownership and visibility within the company. * Direct impact on AI\-powered products used by real clients. * Close collaboration with data and AI teams. * Autonomy to shape engineering culture and standards. * Fast\-paced environment with meaningful technical challenges. **Work Model** Hybrid in Mexico City, with flexibility.
