We do not seek a profile focused solely on monitoring or executing predefined automations. This role requires deep technical expertise to manually intervene in the operating system, virtualization, storage, and networking services when complex performance or connectivity failures occur. This is a hands\-on role in core infrastructure. **Responsibilities** *OpenStack* * Advanced operation and troubleshooting of Nova, Neutron, Keystone, Glance, and associated services * API- and database-level diagnostics * Resolution of issues in production environments *CEPH* * Cluster administration and optimization * Latency diagnostics for OSDs * Handling critical rebalancing operations * Failure recovery *Virtualization \& Operating System* * KVM/QEMU optimization * Kernel parameter tuning on Ubuntu Server (sysctl, hugepages, CPU pinning) * Instance performance tuning *Software-Defined Networking (SDN)* * In-depth OVS/OVN diagnostics * Troubleshooting using tcpdump, ip route, ovs\-vsctl * Traffic analysis in Geneve/VXLAN tunnels * Resolution of routing and isolation issues *Automation* * Development and maintenance using Ansible and Terraform * Detailed understanding of OS-level changes applied *Bare-Metal Kubernetes* * Deployment and operation of Kubernetes on physical and virtual infrastructure * Integration with Cinder/CSI and Neutron/CNI *Required Qualifications* * 3–5\+ years of experience administering and troubleshooting OpenStack * Practical experience recovering CEPH clusters * Advanced experience with Ubuntu Server * Low-level network debugging capability * Experience working in critical production environments * Ability to read Python code (OpenStack) for diagnostics * Advanced English proficiency **Candidate Profile** * Engineer with a mindset oriented toward deep problem resolution * Ability to work under technical pressure * Performance- and stability-oriented * Autonomous with strong technical judgment **What We Offer** * Hybrid work mode * Participation in high-technical-level infrastructure * Real production challenges * Engineering-focused culture **If you have hands-on experience working with OpenStack infrastructure and enjoy understanding low-level behavior, we want to meet you!!!!!** Position Type: Full-time Salary: $40,000\.00 \- $50,000\.00 per month Work Location: Hybrid remote in 03810, Nápoles, CDMX
