Participation in supplier selection and validation Yecapixtla Mexico Operations: manufacturing, production, maintenance, utilities **External Job Description** ***Project Engineer*** Design, plan, and execute projects related to capacity expansion, quality and safety improvements, procurement, new plants, process innovations, etc., adhering to engineering design bases to fulfill the company’s strategic plan. **Responsibilities:** * Size equipment, process lines, or new plants as specified in the current CAPEX, according to engineering and logistics design bases. * Issue RFQs for equipment, complete process lines, or entire plants; collaborate with Procurement to review cost comparison tables and technical specifications to ensure economic and operational project expectations are met. * Schedule project construction progress and associated cash flow to meet cash, project cost, and launch cost targets. * Collaborate with Procurement to develop and validate a specialized supplier panel. * Conduct formal project handover to the end user, validating capacity, quality, and safety specifications outlined in the CAR and related documents (purchase orders, specification sheets, service contracts, etc.) to transfer project custody. * Verify adherence to project initiation premises—e.g., quality and safety benefits, capacity increases, productivity improvements—to identify deviations and implement corrective actions. **Requirements:** * Engineering degree * Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Project Engineer in pet food (“DRY” processes), food & beverage, bottling, or fast-moving consumer goods companies. * Experience in investment projects * Advanced English proficiency; presentations and reports in English; technical manuals and concepts in English. * Willingness to travel 20% domestically and across Latin America. * ERP (projects) **Skills:** Teamwork Guided thinking Flexible thinking and adaptability to change Conflict resolution Decision-making Customer service orientation Effective communication Work Location: Yecapixtla, Morelos **\#IncludED** Diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging are foundational to ADM’s efforts to continue innovating, driving growth, and delivering outstanding performance.
