Job Summary: Responsible for safeguarding the company's assets and ensuring the safety of staff and customers, performing surveillance duties and activities that guarantee the security of the premises. Key Responsibilities: 1. Safeguard the company's assets and ensure the safety of staff and customers. 2. Perform surveillance duties and guarantee the security of the premises. 3. Conduct patrols, answer calls, and report any incidents. **Purpose of the Position** This role is responsible for safeguarding the company's assets and ensuring the safety of staff and customers present within the company premises. It involves carrying out surveillance duties within the designated area and performing activities that guarantee the security of the premises and all items contained therein. **Duties and Responsibilities** · Review the incident logbook and record any incidents for awareness by colleagues from other departments. · Verify that staff clock in punctually and correctly; record any tardiness if not complied with. · Attend to visitors and/or suppliers, following the required registration procedure. · Monitor the company’s security status via surveillance cameras. · Conduct patrols across all areas of the company. · Respond immediately to telephone reports of abnormalities. · Receive packages and forward them to the responsible department, recording them in the logbook. · Immediately report to the on-duty supervisor any activities disrupting order within the company, threatening company assets, or indicating operational anomalies. · Verbally brief the incoming shift on pending tasks, received instructions, observations from company personnel, and events occurring in the area; written handover shall be provided when required. · Inspect fire extinguishers. · Inspect fire hoses, first-aid equipment, safety equipment, and personal protective equipment. · Inspect company vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition. · Deliver requisitioned files to the warehouse. **Competencies:** · Disciplined · Observant · Honest · Ethical · Service-oriented · Discreet · Adherent to instructions · Communication skills for interacting with suppliers and employees Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
