Validate firmware functionality and ensure proper operation under field conditions. Develop and optimize automated test scripts using tools such as Python or Robot Framework. Perform debugging and root cause analysis of identified issues. Collaborate closely with development and engineering teams in Canada, ensuring test coverage and traceability. Document test results and manage defect tracking through Jira. Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks. Your Profile Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field. 3–5 years of QA experience in industrial or embedded environments. Solid knowledge of firmware testing, microcontrollers, and industrial communication protocols (e.g., CAN, Modbus). Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Python, Robot Framework). Familiarity with debugging tools, log analysis, and issue-tracking systems (e.g., Jira). Excellent English proficiency (spoken and written). Prior experience in mining or industrial automation projects (mandatory requirement). Collaborative mindset, attention to detail, and proactive problem-solving skills.
