This role is critical for building functionality, integrating services, optimizing internal processes, and ensuring development quality—while adhering to bank policies and Salesforce best practices. The ideal candidate must possess strong technical expertise, innovative problem\-solving ability, effective communication skills, and a strong focus on collaborative work within an agile team. ### **Key Responsibilities** #### **Development and Configuration** * Develop custom components using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Visualforce. * Create and modify JSON structures in Apex for integrations or data handling. * Build LWC components from scratch, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to best practices. * Configure native Salesforce functionalities, including: + Flows + Process Builder + Workflow Rules * Execute advanced queries using SOQL and SOSL. #### **Integrations and APIs** * Build and integrate REST and SOAP services in Salesforce. * Consume and expose endpoints for integration with internal and external systems. * Use tools such as Postman for API testing. #### **Testing, Quality, and Documentation** * Execute unit tests and ensure minimum required code coverage per organizational standards. * Provide support in resolving reported bugs or defects. * Document developments, configurations, and flows in accordance with bank policies. #### **Collaboration and Agile Methodology** * Collaborate closely with functional analysts, testers, and Salesforce administrators. * Participate in Scrum ceremonies, including dailies, planning, refinement, reviews, and retrospectives. * Comply with security regulations, internal controls, and organizational guidelines. ### **Essential Technical Requirements** * Experience with Salesforce Platform (Sales, Service, or Experience Cloud). * Proficiency in: + Apex (classes, triggers, batch, async Apex) + JSON handling in Apex + Lightning Web Components (LWC) + Visualforce Pages * Data querying and manipulation using SOQL / SOSL. * Declarative configuration, including: + Flows + Process Builder + Workflow Rules * Familiarity with: + VS Code with Salesforce Extension + Git for version control + Salesforce CLI * Knowledge and usage of REST and SOAP APIs. * API testing with Postman. ### **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience with microservices architectures. * Basic DevOps knowledge applied to Salesforce (CI/CD, SFDX). ### **Soft Skills** * Effective verbal and written communication. * Innovative problem solving and analytical thinking. * Teamwork and multidisciplinary collaboration. * Adaptability and flexibility to change and new technologies. * Self\-driven learning mindset and curiosity. ### **Required Experience** * 4\+ years developing on Salesforce with Apex and LWC. * 4\+ years of experience in integrations, performance optimization, testing, and technical leadership. ### **Academic Background** * Engineering or Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Computer Science, ICT, or related fields (or equivalent through experience). ### **Certifications (Preferred)** * Salesforce Platform Developer I (PD1\) — Highly recommended * Salesforce Platform Developer II * Salesforce Administrator (ADM\-201\) * Certifications in integration or architecture (preferred) Orion is an equal opportunity employer, and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, creed, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, citizenship status, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
