We are recruiting an experienced **Process Engineer** **Optics Connectivity** who will drive process engineering activities, improvement plans on optic connection segment. **Our Team** We design, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes for the Optical Connectivity segment. Our responsibilities include managing tooling and peripherals, documenting standard work procedures, and training operators in compliance with quality standards. We lead projects on line balancing, time optimization, engineering changes, and layout design, while introducing new technologies and methods. Additionally, we actively support Lean, 5S, EHS, and quality programs, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to control plans. **What You Will Do** * Design, deploy and manage productive processes for Optical Connectivity segment * Design, quote, optimize and manage tooling and peripherals required for manufacturing * Document standard work process and training to operative personnel in compliance with QMS * Line balancing and standard time improvement projects * Engineering changes technical implementation * Layout design and optimization * Introduction of new technologies and methods * Actively support 5S, EHS, Quality, and Lean programs by following all approved practices and procedures, performing clean\-up activities and identify/recommend improvements to management * Fulfill responsibilities/authorities detailed in any control plan associated with this position **Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)** * Engineering bachelor's degree * Experience in Process Engineering, NPI or Product Engineering * Optical connectors assembly solid knowledge and experience * Able to use the necessary quality tools as it relates to this position. * Must be able to perform all physical requirements as it relates to this position as outlined in the Functional job description * English at conversational level * Problem resolution skills using tools such as: 8D, PDCA, 5W. * Statistical solid knowledge **What Will Put You Ahead** * Photonics, Electronics, Mechatronics or industrial * Experience working with Fiber Optic products * Optical or Silicon Photonics product assembly * Automation background * Black Belt certification **Who We Are** As part of Koch, Molex is a global leader in supplying connectors and interconnect components, driving innovation in electronics and supporting industries from automotive to healthcare, and consumer to data communications.
