**Job Objective** Carry out specialized masonry work based on blueprints, technical specifications, and established quality standards, ensuring safety, accuracy, and adherence to project timelines. **Main Responsibilities** * Perform advanced masonry tasks: wall construction, simple formwork, columns, beams, slabs, and minor structural elements. * Install concrete blocks, bricks, drywall, or structural panels according to specifications. * Perform surface leveling, plastering, finishing, repairs, and interior/exterior finishes. * Prepare, measure, and apply mortars and mixtures as required by the project. * Accurately perform layout marking, leveling, plumb checks, and square alignments. * Assist in installing columns, enclosures, and footings. * Interpret basic architectural and structural blueprints. * Install flooring, tiles, ceramic tiles, and coverings when required by the project. * Properly handle manual and power masonry tools. * Supervise and guide general laborers or mason assistants. * Maintain a clean and safe work area. * Strictly comply with safety regulations and PPE usage. **Job RequirementsEducational Background** * Completed secondary education (desirable). * Courses or certifications in masonry, construction, or safety (desirable). **Experience** * **3 to 5 years of verifiable experience** in masonry work. * Experience constructing light structures, walls, finishes, and precision work. **Technical Knowledge** * Advanced masonry techniques. * Leveling, plumbing, layout marking, and measurements. * Basic blueprint reading. * Mixtures, mortars, shoring, and light formwork removal. * Installation of blocks, bricks, panels, and finishes. * Operation of specialized tools (cutting machine, rotary hammer, manual vibrator). * Basic construction site safety regulations (NOM\-031\-STPS). **Skills** * Precision and attention to detail. * Teamwork and good communication. * Physical strength and endurance. * On-site problem solving. * Responsibility and punctuality. **Competencies** * Work quality. * Results orientation. * Organization. * Discipline. * Job site safety. **Job Conditions** * 100% field work. * Availability for overtime or weekends depending on project progress. * Mandatory use of PPE (hard hat, boots, vest, gloves, goggles). * Work conducted under client and site supervisor guidelines.
