**Your Job:**We are looking for a **Facilities Engineer** to oversee the design, maintenance, and operation of facility systems and equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and compliance with safety standards. This role will plan and execute facility projects, including renovations, upgrades, and installations, while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure uninterrupted facility operations and implement energy efficiency initiatives. **Our Team:** You'll join the DSS division at Molex Guadalajara, working closely with production, operations, maintenance, EHS teams, and external vendors. Our team is committed to operational excellence, safety, and continuous improvement in facility management. **What You Will Do:** * Design and implement maintenance programs for facility systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, structural) * Manage facility projects such as construction, upgrades, and retrofits within budget and schedule * Monitor facility performance metrics to drive improvements and reduce operational costs * Coordinate with vendors and contractors for facility services, ensuring compliance with standards * Conduct regular assessments of facilities and recommend improvements * Develop and enforce safety and environmental protocols for facility operations * Collaborate with production and operations teams to support facility needs and resolve issues * Actively support 5S, EHS, Quality, and Lean programs * Perform other duties as assigned by management **Who You Are (Basic Qualifications):** * Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or related field) * Minimum 3\-5 years of experience in facilities management, engineering, or similar roles * English level B2 (Independent user) * Strong technical knowledge of facility systems and equipment * Excellent problem\-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot facility issues * Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively **What Will Put You Ahead:** * Advanced degree or certifications (CFM, LEED) * Experience in managing facility projects, energy management, or industrial maintenance * Familiarity with sustainability and energy conservation practices * Knowledge of Lean and Six Sigma for process optimization **Who We Are:**As a Koch company, Molex is a globally recognized provider of electronic solutions, enabling innovation in industries ranging from automotive to healthcare.
