Your primary responsibility will be to **operate and program CNC machines**, perform necessary on-floor adjustments, verify that parts meet specifications, and support the training of operational staff. Key Responsibilities * Prepare and program the CNC machine according to the production schedule. * Mount cutting tools, secure workpieces, and prepare the machine for machining. * Conduct test runs to validate correct operation of the CNC program and machine. * Perform **PAP (Setup and Commissioning) tests** to ensure parts meet quality requirements. * Adjust the program or machine parameters when parts fail to meet specifications. * Verify dimensions using **measuring instruments** (calipers, micrometers, etc.) and record results as required. * Immediately report any machine malfunctions or anomalies to the Maintenance Department. * Respond promptly to inquiries or issues raised by Supervisors and Operators regarding program functionality. * Program and adjust the machine for **new products or engineering changes**. * Support **training of operational staff** in basic use and operation of machines (CNC Lathes and CNC Machining Centers). Requirements **Education (Preferred):** * Technical degree in Machine Tools, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field. **Experience:** * Prior experience as a **CNC operator and/or programmer** in a production environment. * Experience in CNC programming using **Fanuc language**. * Hands-on floor experience: tool changes, adjustments, setup and commissioning, part verification. **Technical Knowledge:** * Advanced proficiency in **SolidWorks**. * Familiarity with CAM software—preferably one or more of the following: * Camworks * Powermill * Solidcam * Mastercam * Proficiency with **measuring instruments** (calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, etc.). * Basic experience in **supervising or training operational staff** (e.g., coordination or training support) is desirable.
