Major heavy cargo transportation company is seeking: **Business Unit Manager – Specialized in Construction Projects** **POSITION MISSION:** Plan, direct, supervise, and control the comprehensive operation of the business unit specialized in civil works and/or infrastructure, ensuring compliance with established strategic, financial, operational, contractual, and quality objectives, guaranteeing profitability, regulatory compliance, customer satisfaction, and safety in each project. **POSITION FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Responsible for Strategic and Commercial Management * Responsible for Analysis and Planning of Operational Capacity * Execution of Awarded Projects through bidding processes * Definition and Monitoring of the Unit's Annual Budget * Responsible for Operational Management * Development and Supervision of Subcontractors and Technical Partnerships * Risk and Contingency Management on Site * Budget tracking and monitoring of financial indicators * People Management * Lead and develop managerial, technical, and operational teams * Compliance with Regulations and Quality Standards * Brand Positioning and Reputation of the Unit **POSITION PROFILE:** * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Engineering, or related field * 8 years of experience in leadership roles, project management, and operations * Advanced Excel skills * Technical/Logistics English proficiency **REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:** * Applicable regulations (Public Works Law, local regulations, Mexican technical standards and NOMs) * Comprehensive management of civil works projects, maintenance, and specialized services (carpentry, plumbing, welding, gardening, finishes, etc.) * Risk management techniques * Techniques such as 5 Whys, Ishikawa diagram, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) * Occupational Safety and Health regulations (STPS or equivalent) * Lean Construction, BIM, or agile methodologies applied to construction (desirable) **OFFER:** * Monthly fixed salary: $40,000.00 nominal + additional payments up to $54,000.00 * $3,000 monthly gasoline vouchers * $2,000 monthly grocery vouchers * Savings fund * Statutory benefits * 30 days of Christmas bonus **LOCATION:** Carr. a La Capilla, La Capilla del Refugio Job type: Full-time, Indefinite term Salary: $40,000.00 - $54,000.00 per month Benefits: * Grocery vouchers Application questions: * English level: * How many years of experience do you have in this position?
