Role: Execute, supervise, and evaluate mechanical maintenance activities for assigned process equipment according to asset care standards at the 'La Barca' distillery, ensuring the safe, continuous, and efficient operation of production-related equipment through timely execution of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance tasks, as well as supervision or verification of equipment condition, guaranteeing their proper functioning in compliance with the company's safety, quality, and sustainability regulations. Additionally, contribute to continuous process improvement, proper management of materials, and implementation of good manufacturing and safety practices within the plant. About the Position:* Execute equipment maintenance * Implement actions and standards of Manex (Manufacturing Excellence) and quality management systems. * Participate in root cause analyses to proactively identify and eliminate technical risks that could impact quality, productivity, and cost. * Collaborate in achieving departmental maintenance KPI objectives. * Generate and present performance reports, as well as document maintenance improvements. * Participate in investment projects by providing feedback to the engineering team for technical proposal development. * Implement and follow safety and hygiene guidelines. * Collaborate in maintenance activities carried out by contractors. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE / SKILLS / CAPABILITIES / LANGUAGES:* Spanish language, intermediate English desirable * Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Maintenance Engineer. * Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Electronics, or related fields. * Teamwork skills. Analytical and problem-solving oriented. * Proficiency in MS Office, SAP PM. Ability to interpret mechanical, electrical, and HMI drawings. Knowledge of measurement equipment. * Proactive, responsible, and committed. Good manufacturing practices. * Communication skills, teamwork, and ability to work with minimal supervision. * Problem-solving tool utilization skills. * Experience in maintenance and installation of mechanical transmission equipment, electric motors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, electrical panels, CCMS, frequency drives, and electrical knowledge. * Ability to handle heavy loads and high volumes of fluid; access and feel comfortable working in confined, wet, or dusty spaces; work at heights and in varying temperatures. * Shift rotation, availability to work weekends and holidays.
