




The Safety Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a safe, compliant, and sustainable work environment by implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving EHS programs and initiatives. This role plays a key part in promoting a proactive safety culture, preventing incidents, and supporting operational excellence across the organization. ### **What You’ll Do** * Promote and ensure compliance with Goodyear’s EHS Policy among all team members. * Develop, implement, and maintain safety programs, standards, and procedures aligned with corporate and legal requirements. * Conduct risk assessments, safety audits, and inspections to identify hazards and recommend preventive measures. * Lead incident investigations and implement corrective and preventive actions. * Deliver and coordinate EHS training programs for employees and contractors to strengthen awareness and safe behaviors. * Ensure compliance with local and international EHS regulations and industry best practices. * Oversee the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and enforce compliance across all operations. * Coordinate emergency preparedness and response plans, including drills, evacuation procedures, and crisis management activities. * Monitor and analyze safety performance indicators to drive continuous improvement. * Collaborate with management and employees to foster a proactive safety culture. * Integrate safety considerations into equipment and process design. * Lead and manage safety committees, encouraging active worker participation in EHS initiatives. * Supervise, coach, and develop the personnel under your responsibility. ### **What You’ll Bring** * Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field. * 4–6 years of experience in EHS or Safety Coordination roles, preferably in manufacturing or industrial environments. * Intermediate English proficiency (minimum). * Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills. * Solid understanding of Occupational Safety Standards and Compliance (global and local). * Expertise in Risk Assessment, Hazard Identification, and Incident Investigation. * Knowledge of Emergency Preparedness, Crisis Management, and Behavior\-Based Safety. * Proven ability to develop and sustain a strong safety culture within the organization. ### **What Will Set You Apart** * Experience in multinational or complex manufacturing environments. * Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal). * Strong analytical mindset and ability to translate data into actionable insights. * Demonstrated success in driving cultural change and employee engagement around safety. * Certification in EHS management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 14001\) or equivalent. * Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across all organizational levels. \#LI\-SN1 Goodyear is one of the world's largest tire companies.
