




We are seeking a Customs Analyst with experience in international trade and handling customs operations under various regimes, ensuring regulatory compliance, document control, and proper execution of imports and exports. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining traceability of each operation, ensuring timely closures, coordinating documentation with logistics and customs authorities, as well as supporting certifications and audits. This position ensures compliance with customs regulations and contributes to the efficient flow of the supply chain. Responsibilities Operations * Prepare import and export invoices according to the applicable customs regime. * Conduct documentary analysis for each operation to validate compliance. * Ensure timely delivery of documents to Logistics/Carriers. * Keep the status of each operation updated in the inventory control system. * Accompany each movement from request through to closure. * Maintain direct communication with clients regarding classification and documentation. * Track imports with warehouses in the U.S. * Manage closures of consolidated customs entries with the customs broker (weekly or monthly). Administration and Compliance * Organize electronic and physical files for each operation. * Maintain operational reports according to management requirements. * Provide support during audit activities and in responding to requests. * Availability to handle special cases outside standard working hours. Processes and Certifications * Support certifications such as C-IVA, OEA, C-TPAT, and other international trade programs. * Keep reports required by management and customs authorities up to date. * Contribute process control improvements when required. Job Requirements Academic Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, Foreign Trade, or related field. Experience * Minimum 3 years as an Import/Export Analyst. * Experience participating in closures of consolidated customs entries. Technical Knowledge * IMMEX program and IVA Certification. * Tariff classification. * PRISMA Foreign Trade System. * Customs Law, Annexes 22, 24, and 30. * Handling of entries, in-bond, shipper export, and ISF. * Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). * Basic English desirable. Skills * Document organization and administrative control. * Ability to communicate effectively with clients and customs brokers. * Accuracy in handling critical data and documentation. * Teamwork and collaboration with internal and external departments. * High sense of responsibility and results orientation.
