**Middleware Administrator (L2) – Hybrid (Mexico)** **Location:** Mexico City, Querétaro, Guadalajara, or Monterrey **Work Mode:** Hybrid (2 - 3 days onsite) **Experience:** 4–8 years **Employment Type:** Full-time **About the Role** We are looking for a **Middleware Administrator (L2)** to support and manage enterprise middleware platforms in mission-critical environments. This role focuses on administration, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of middleware technologies across Linux and Windows systems. You will work in a collaborative environment supporting multiple applications, clustered environments, and message-driven architectures. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide Level 2 support for middleware platforms, including **Oracle WebLogic and Oracle SOA Suite** * Install, configure, administer, and monitor middleware components in production and non-production environments * Set up and manage **WebLogic domains**, including Admin Servers and Managed Servers * Deploy applications (WAR/EAR) in standalone and clustered environments * Configure and manage **JDBC data sources** and backend database connectivity * Monitor system performance, analyze metrics, and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability * Apply patches, upgrades, and security fixes to middleware components * Manage and troubleshoot **JMS servers, queues, and topics** * Support and manage **Apache HTTP Server, Tomcat, JBoss**, and **Kafka** environments * Automate operational tasks and deployments using **Shell scripting and Ansible** * Create and maintain technical documentation and operational procedures **Required Skills & Experience** * 4–8 years of experience as a Middleware Administrator or similar role * Strong hands-on experience with **Oracle WebLogic Server** * Experience with **Apache HTTP Server, Tomcat, and JBoss** * Knowledge of **SOA Suite, Oracle Forms and Reports** * Solid understanding of **JDBC, JMS, message queues, and clustering concepts** * Experience supporting middleware on **Linux and Windows** platforms * Strong troubleshooting and performance tuning skills **Nice to Have** * Experience managing **Kafka brokers, topics, partitions, and consumer groups** * Knowledge of automation using **Ansible** * Experience with monitoring tools and alert handling * Strong communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $30,000.00 - $60,000.00 per month Application Question(s): * Do you have 4+ years of hands-on experience administering Oracle WebLogic Server in production environments? * Have you deployed and managed WAR/EAR applications in clustered WebLogic environments (Admin & Managed Servers)? * Do you have hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting JMS (Queues/Topics) and JDBC Data Sources? * Are you able to work in a hybrid model (2 days onsite) in CDMX, GDL, MTY, or QRO?
