### **Position Purpose:** Manage and monitor in real time the allocation and use of loading and unloading docks or ramps, ensuring a continuous, orderly, and efficient flow of vehicles, materials, and products, in order to optimize operational times and prevent warehouse congestion. ### **Main Responsibilities:** * Monitor and coordinate the **assignment of docks or ramps** for loading and unloading operations according to incoming and outgoing schedules. * Receive and record **carrier arrival notifications**, prioritizing based on urgency, type of cargo, or scheduled time window. * Update in system or control board the **status of each ramp** (occupied, free, waiting, maintenance, etc.). * Coordinate with **planning, transportation, safety, and warehouse operations teams** to ensure smooth handling operations. * Supervise **compliance with carrier appointment schedules** and report deviations. * Generate daily reports on **ramp utilization, service times, productivity, and delays.** * Identify and communicate operational incidents (delays, congestion, damages, assignment errors). * Support the **implementation of improvements in scheduling and ramp control** to optimize logistical flow. ### **Job Requirements:** * **Education:** Technical or professional degree in Logistics, Administration, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. * **Experience:** Minimum 1\-2 years in operational control, logistics planning, or dock/ramp coordination. **Knowledge:** * Warehouse and transportation operations. * Appointment scheduling and fleet control. * Logistics management tools (ERP, WMS, TMS). * Proficiency in Excel and control dashboards. * Logistics performance indicators. **Competencies:** * Organization and planning. * Analytical skills and quick decision-making. * Effective communication and cross-functional coordination. * Ability to work under pressure and multitask. * Service orientation and compliance focus.
