Your technical expertise will be critical to ensuring continuous, reliable, and efficient electrical power supply that supports daily operations of commercial and industrial properties. In this strategic role, you will not only perform preventive and corrective maintenance on critical electrical infrastructure but also monitor complex systems such as power generation plants, load centers, and electrical conditioning equipment. Your ability to anticipate failures, analyze data, and respond effectively to emergencies will directly impact operational continuity and our customers’ satisfaction. Your day-to-day responsibilities: Perform specialized maintenance and installation of load centers, branch panels, distribution panels, and electrical disconnect systems, ensuring safe and efficient operation. Operate and monitor Electric Power Generation Plants, guaranteeing immediate availability during utility power interruptions and conducting periodic operational tests. Execute preventive maintenance and continuous monitoring of electrical conditioning equipment—including transformers, ballasts, and Motor Control Centers (MCCs)—to optimize performance. Install and maintain electrical conduits, wiring, lighting fixtures, and lighting control devices such as switches, relays, inductive and ultrasonic occupancy sensors. Systematically implement the site’s scheduled maintenance program, documenting performed activities and identified findings for trend analysis. Respond immediately to electrical alarms, diagnose root causes, and execute necessary adjustments or repairs to restore normal operations with minimal downtime. Analyze operational data, identify behavioral trends of electrical equipment, predict potential failures, and propose preventive solutions to enhance reliability and energy efficiency. Mandatory Requirements: Technical degree in Electricity, Electromechanics, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field focused on electrical systems. Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience in operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in commercial or industrial facilities. Demonstrated practical knowledge of electrical installations, equipment commissioning, interpretation of electrical diagrams, and applicable regulations (NOM-001-SEDE). Proven ability to work with medium- and low-voltage systems while strictly adhering to electrical safety protocols and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements. Unwavering commitment to safety policies for storage, use, and disposal of hazardous materials, maintaining clean and safe working environments. Availability to respond to electrical emergencies outside regular hours and act with urgency in critical situations. Effective verbal and written communication skills, teamwork, responsibility, honesty, punctuality, and customer service orientation. Desirable Requirements: Technical certifications in electrical installations, electrical safety, working at heights, or certification from the Ministry of Labor (STPS). Experience operating and maintaining specific electrical systems such as UPS (uninterruptible power supply), electrical substations, or medium-voltage switchgear. Knowledge of automation systems, programmable logic controllers (PLCs), or energy management systems (BMS/EMS). Familiarity with power quality analysis, harmonic detection, electrical consumption measurement, and energy efficiency proposals. Experience reading and interpreting complex electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and equipment technical specifications. Proficiency with advanced electrical diagnostic tools (power analyzers, infrared thermography, insulation resistance testers, specialized digital multimeters). Valid driver’s license for mobility between multiple sites or facilities as required by operational needs.
