**Job Objective** Provide general support to skilled workers and masons in carrying out civil construction tasks, ensuring material supply, preparation of mixtures, and proper operation of the work front, while maintaining order and safety. **Main Responsibilities** * Assist in basic masonry activities under the supervision of a skilled worker or foreman. * Prepare mixtures, mortars, and concrete according to instructions. * Transport materials, tools, and equipment within the construction site. * Keep work areas clean and organized. * Perform tasks such as hauling, manual excavation, backfilling, and simple leveling. * Prepare surfaces for plastering, walls, or foundations. * Assist in placing blocks, bricks, panels, or simple formwork. * Load and organize materials in storage or stockpiling areas. * Basic handling of hand tools (shovel, pickaxe, wheelbarrow, trowel, hammer). * Comply with safety regulations and use mandatory PPE. * Follow precise instructions from the skilled mason or foreman. **Job RequirementsEducational Background** * Primary or secondary education (not essential). * Basic training in construction or safety desirable. **Experience** * **0 to 2 years of experience** in civil construction. * Prior experience as a general laborer or in similar roles is desirable. **Technical Knowledge** * Basic use of construction tools. * Preparation of mixtures and mortars. * Basic masonry techniques. * Principles of organization and cleanliness on site. * Basic worksite safety (NOM\-031\-STPS). **Skills** * Physical endurance. * Teamwork. * Responsibility and punctuality. * Ability to follow instructions. * Proactive attitude. * Basic communication with supervisors. **Competencies** * Focus on quality. * Order and discipline. * Work safety. * Adaptability. **Working Conditions** * 100% field work. * Mandatory use of PPE: helmet, vest, steel-toed boots, gloves, and goggles. * Availability to work overtime or on weekends if required by the project. * Constant physical activity (lifting, moving materials, hauling).
