The Warehouse Manager is responsible for coordinating, supervising, and executing activities related to the receipt, storage, inventory control, preservation, and distribution of products within the warehouse. Their primary function is to ensure the availability and proper handling of paints, solvents, tools, and complementary materials, maintaining an efficient flow of goods and preventing shrinkage, losses, or logistical errors. They must ensure that product inbound and outbound processes are carried out accurately, under safety, cleanliness, and organization standards, complying with company guidelines and ensuring prompt and efficient service to sales and logistics departments. Additionally, they actively participate in physical inventory counts, return controls, and operational reporting, contributing to the achievement of business objectives. Responsibilities and Functions: I. Use, care, maintenance, and safeguarding of warehouse assets such as facilities and installations, machinery, tools, furniture, and equipment, etc. II. Inventory maintenance. III. Organize merchandise according to the First-In, First-Out (FIFO) inventory system. IV. Report discrepancies or incidents upon merchandise receipt, immediately notify the supplier, and follow up on their response and appropriate resolution. V. Occasional transportation of merchandise. VI. Receive merchandise from suppliers. VII. Rotate merchandise. VIII. Take responsibility for outgoing merchandise. IX. Report slow-moving merchandise. X. Identify expired merchandise. XI. Provide customer service at CEDIS. XII. Periodically review merchandise stock levels in general warehouses by manufacturer, brand, category, or department to request or order new merchandise. XIII. Identify potential inventory errors. DAILY ACTIVITIES (Shift Start). 1\. Arrive at 8:20 a.m. to organize your work. 2\. Upon arrival at the warehouse, check that it is in good condition, that merchandise is not leaking liquids, that electricity functions properly without delays when turning on or unusual sounds, and that no abnormal odors are present. 3\. If using a vehicle, ensure it has at least half a tank of fuel. (Check that your vehicle is in good condition (check oil, tires, brakes, etc.)). If needed, request funds to refill the vehicle's gasoline. 4\. Request pending tasks from the previous day and follow up on them. DAILY ACTIVITIES (During Shift). 1\. Carry out your activities in compliance with all current regulations of Color Group. 2\. Assist in cleaning, organizing, and maintaining the facilities as instructed by the CEDIS supervisor. 3\. Maintain inventory, cleaning products before shipping to branches or delivering to customers. 4\. Receive merchandise from suppliers, ensuring it is complete and in proper condition, reporting any discrepancies or issues to the supplier, and following up on their response and resolution. 5\. Organize merchandise according to the FIFO system, ensuring items are correctly oriented for easy identification. 6\. Dispatch merchandise, taking full responsibility for all outgoing assets. 7\. Serve customers who come directly to CEDIS. DAILY ACTIVITIES (End of Shift). 1\. At the end of CEDIS operations, close the warehouse, ensuring lights are off and electricity is disconnected. 2\. Safeguard valuable items under your responsibility. 3\. Return the warehouse keys. 4\. Record your departure time on the time card. PERIODIC ACTIVITIES. 1\. Identify and report slow-moving merchandise. 2\. Identify and report merchandise nearing expiration or already expired. 3\. Provide support in activities assigned by the CEDIS supervisor. 4\. Provide support in cleaning, organizing, and maintaining facilities as directed by the CEDIS supervisor. OCCASIONAL ACTIVITIES. 1\. Participate in branch work meetings. 2\. Attend training courses when assigned by the CEDIS supervisor. 3\. Transport merchandise to customers or branches.
