**Duties to be performed:** * Receives daily work orders for room cleaning, including guest check-ins, rooms occupied by continuing guests, and rooms vacated by departing guests (check-outs). * Adheres to the hotel’s established safety and hygiene procedures. * Performs deep cleaning throughout all areas within guest rooms, including cleaning and disinfecting bathrooms—shower, sink, and toilet. * Cleans and tidies rooms according to hotel standards. * Makes beds, irons duvet covers and pillowcases, changes linens as needed, and replaces required bathroom towels. * Restocks toiletries (amenities). * Sweeps and mops floors, and dusts furniture and surfaces. * Reports any damage, malfunction, or repair needs in rooms to the maintenance supervisor. * Immediately delivers to the front desk any items left behind by guests in rooms and maintains personal records of such items. * Maintains inventory control of linens in storage, bed linens, towels, other garments, cleaning supplies, and various items used in guest rooms. * Tracks and accounts for the number of linens, towels, and other garments delivered to external laundry services for washing. * Verifies and records the count of linens, towels, and other garments returned by external laundry services at the hotel, matching them against the collection service note. * Cleans common hotel areas (e.g., sweeping, watering plants, cleaning garden furniture). * Conducts inventory of toiletries and room supplies to identify shortages and submit corresponding purchase requests. * Remains available to provide support, when requested, for activities outside one’s primary room-cleaning responsibilities, strictly when necessary and justified. * Completes a daily log documenting relevant matters at the end of each shift. **Job Requirements:** * Prior experience in a similar role in hotels or accommodation establishments is preferred, though candidates without experience but willing and able to learn efficiently and quickly are also considered. * General knowledge of various room cleaning methods and proper use of cleaning products. * Ability to work efficiently and at a fast pace. * Ability to follow instructions and meet the hotel’s cleaning standards. * Initiative, energy, and a friendly, professional attitude toward guests and fellow team members. * Attention to detail both inside and outside guest rooms. * Professional appearance. * Availability to work weekends and holidays.
