*DEPARTMENT STORE SURTIDORA INVITES YOU TO JOIN ITS WORK TEAM AS:* **CASHIER** **JOB OBJECTIVE:** To provide excellent customer service by processing product payments, returns, cancellations, exchanges, account credits, and cash disbursements at the Point of Sale (POS), while resolving any related questions or concerns. **REQUIREMENTS:** * Gender: Unrestricted. * Age: 21 to 48 years old. * Education: High school diploma. * Minimum 6 months’ experience as a retail cashier. * Knowledge of cash handling, credit sales, Point of Sale (POS) systems, and customer service. * Skills in effective communication, teamwork, and planning. * Professional appearance and charisma. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Process product payments (cash, bank cards, SD card) at the POS. * Apply account credits to SD cards at the POS. * Process customer returns/exchanges, where applicable. * Disburse cash for “Surtilana” or “Surtichash” loans. * Request cash additions/deductions from the Cashier Supervisor for the cash register. * Request authorization for POS transactions. * Clarify any customer questions/concerns regarding products or credit. * Coordinate with the Credit Department on all matters related to customer credit. * Safeguard cash and vouchers in the cash register. * Remove product security sensors before handing items to customers. * Place customers’ purchased items into SD shopping bags. * Perform opening/closing procedures for the cash register and POS. * Deliver high-quality service and customer attention. * Assist in organizing, displaying products, and attaching/removing security sensors. **WE OFFER:** * Monthly base salary of $9'451\.20 (paid biweekly) * Monthly punctuality and attendance bonus of $945\.00 * Monthly tourist zone bonus of $2'000\.00 (store target \+90%) * Monthly sales bonus of $2'500\.00 (store target \+95%) * Monthly food vouchers worth $945\.00 * Commissions for online sales. * Complimentary uniforms. * Work schedule: Monday through Sunday; two weekdays off (40-hour workweek). * Benefits exceeding legal requirements (food vouchers, savings fund, SD protection insurance, in-store discounts). * Opportunities for professional development and career growth. **We value committed and passionate employees.
