This role is key to ensuring the stability, availability, and performance of the client's technological infrastructure. **What You Will Do:** * Provide support for the **Red Hat Linux** operating system. * Perform troubleshooting and incident resolution on **UNIX** systems. * Administer and configure components and resources in **UNIX/Linux** systems. * Provide support in **DNS**, **TCP/IP** networking, web services (**Apache**), and **MySQL** databases. * Use monitoring tools to ensure system performance. * Manage virtualized environments on **Solaris, AIX, HPUX**, as well as on **Linux** (containers and virtual machines). * Manage environments with **Veritas Storage Foundation** and **Veritas***Cluster***. * Administer tools such as **Oracle Enterprise Manager**, **Ignite**, **NIM***Server***, **Ansible**, **Red Hat Satellite**, and **SUSE Manager**. **Who You Are:** * Graduate with a degree in **Computer Science, Information Systems Engineering, or related field.** * **3 years of experience in Linux support**. * Possess essential technical knowledge in: Administration of **UNIX/Linux** operating systems, **TCP/IP** networking, **NAS/SAN** storage, **Shell scripting**, and virtualization and management of complex environments. * Certifications such as the following are desirable: * **Linux Sysadmin** * **UNIX Sysadmin** (Solaris, AIX, HPUX) **In addition to these qualifications, we find that individuals who are successful in this role also have:** * Knowledge of processes based on **ITIL**. * Effective communication with internal and external clients. * Experience with virtualization environments such as **VMware** and **Hyper\-V**. * Cloud platforms: **Azure, AWS, Oracle Cloud**. * Monitoring tools such as **Nagios, Zenoss, Splunk**.
