Client: Our client is a leading global travel agency network specializing in luxury and experiential journeys. They seek to develop a unified API framework that ensures secure, flexible, and seamless system integration. Position overview: We are looking for a versatile and driven Software Development Engineer, contributing to the development of data ingestion pipelines, data integrity processes, and service layers that support external users. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in .NET/C\# development and a solid understanding of Snowflake or other modern database technologies. .NET 9, C\#, Azure DevOps, Snowflake * Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using .NET/C\# to support data ingestion and delivery. * Build and optimize data pipelines for structured and semi\-structured data. * Integrate with Snowflake or other data platforms to ensure efficient data storage, transformation, and access. * Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and external stakeholders to understand data requirements and ensure data integrity. * Implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure reliability and traceability of data flows. * Ensure security, scalability, and performance of data services exposed to external users. * Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes within CI/CD environments. * Requirements: Strong experience in .NET/C\# development, including RESTful API design * Hands\-on experience with Snowflake, SQL, or other relational/cloud\-based databases. * Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes, data modeling, and data warehousing concepts * Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure). * Understanding of data governance, quality, and security principles. * Proficiency with Git and CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps) * Experience working with queue systems (e.g., Azure Service Bus, MassTransit) * Experience developing serverless APIs in Azure * Understanding of the CQRS pattern. * Experience writing unit tests. * Good spoken English * Nice to have: Experience working with the MS SQL Server data management system and its components (SSRS, SSIS) * Experience with ARM templates or Bicep is a plus. * Experience with Typescript and Vue.js is a plus. * Experience working with foreign clients * Understanding of Agile methodologies’ development * Microsoft certificates * Experience with the Travel domain * Team player
