For more information about Modine, visit www.modine.com. **Position Description** ------------------------ The Production Superintendent is responsible for coordinating, managing, and executing activities of production supervisors and group supervisors, achieving established goals in Productivity, Quality, Organization, Cleanliness, Safety, and Environment, as well as all matters related to internal and/or external customer satisfaction. **Key Responsibilities** ------------------------ * Daily evaluation of production results. * Evaluation of defective material reports from departments. * Control of material flow throughout all production stages. * Handling of statistical data. * Supervision, evaluation, and motivation of assigned supervisors. * Facilitate and participate in problem-solving teams. * Analyze and report plant metrics and indicators. * Proactive in continuous improvement. * Identify, develop, and conduct training for supervisors under supervision. * Coordinate training for personnel under supervision. * Achievement of objectives and targets. * Coordinate organization and cleanliness of the production plant. * Responsible for the safety of production personnel. * Support and participate in achieving established quality objectives such as Safety and Environment, PPM's, Scrap, and On-time Deliveries. **Required Education \& Qualifications** ---------------------------------------- * Education: Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineer (preferably). * Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position. * Bilingual: English – Spanish. * Knowledge and application of problem-solving techniques. * Knowledge of continuous improvement methodology. * Statistical knowledge and interpretation. * Ability to organize and manage personnel. * Leadership and Teamwork.
