**Job Description** 1\.0 GENERAL OBJECTIVE: Quality Control Manager supervises staff and oversees product development procedures to ensure that products meet quality and efficiency standards. They will also work with customers to ensure final products meet their needs and requirements. 2\.0 RESPONSIBILITIES / FUNCTIONS: 2\.1 Understand customer needs and requirements and communicate them, along with quality standards, to production teams 2\.2 Design, improve, and review new specifications and procedures for products or processes, and train staff in their use 2\.3 Establish raw material requirements from suppliers and monitor compliance 2\.4 Supervise product development procedures to identify any deviations from quality standards 2\.5 Inspect final output, compare it against requirements, and approve or reject finished products 2\.6 Maintain accurate documentation and perform statistical analysis 2\.7 Obtain customer feedback, attend meetings, present reports, and assist external auditors and inspectors 2\.8 Design, implement, and improve the company's quality standards 2\.9 Formulate strategies to increase productivity 2\.10 Review processes to ensure alignment with current trends 2\.11 Work with cross-functional teams to determine short-term action plans and goals that support annual objectives 2\.12 Build alliances and partnerships with multifunctional groups across other sites. 3\.0 PROFESSIONAL PROFILE: 3\.1 Experience / Technical Knowledge * Extensive knowledge of Quality Management Systems * Knowledge of Continuous Improvement Methodologies and Lean Manufacturing * Software Proficiency: Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) * MS\-Project, MS\-Visio, Internet, and ERP/AS400 information systems * Extensive knowledge of ISO13485, FDA, and GMP * Knowledge as an Internal Auditor under ISO13485 * Ability to interpret design drawings and diagrams 3\.2 Competencies / Soft Skills * Personnel Management * Results-Oriented * Commitment * Proactive * Strong Communication Skills 3\.3 Academic Background * Completed Professional Degree * Master’s Degree – Desirable * Bilingual: Spanish\-English, 90% proficiency in speaking, writing, and listening.
