Job Summary:
This role involves monitoring and managing customs clearances, supporting physical inspections, notifying discrepancies, and submitting documents to relevant authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customs clearance management and support during physical inspections.
2. Notification of incidents and discrepancies.
3. Submission of documents to relevant authorities.
· Notify the Office whether the clearance was a green (free) or red (customs inspection) release.
· Deliver the DODA, customs entry form, and invoice to the carrier upon completion of the customs inspection and request an acknowledgment of receipt.
· Monitor and execute red (customs inspection) clearance procedures, assisting the customs inspector during physical verification by comparing quantities and descriptions against those stated in the COVE, customs entry form, or, as applicable, the invoice.
· Report any discrepancies immediately to the direct supervisor or on-duty supervisor (after working hours).
· In case of incidents, sign detailed incident reports.
· Notify the Traffic Manager of any incidents identified.
· Submit required documents to relevant authorities according to the specific procedure being carried out.
· Monitor rail units.
Salary: $3,000\.00 \- $3,850\.00 per week
