The successful candidate will have a hands\-on approach and a keen eye for quality and efficiency, ensuring day\-to\-day operations meet expectations. Principal Duties and Responsibilities * Maintain good housekeeping practices and maintain work area to daily housekeeping standards. * Must work effectively with co\-workers as a team member and support safe, quality production. * Perform and assist in other tasks as directed by supervision/management. * Inspect general appearance of raw material, work in process and finished product. * Execute standard work instruction with support from others on complex tasks. * Operate and inspect all tools and equipment necessary to execute standard work. * Test and calibrate simple assemblies according to specifications. * Execute standard work with an acceptable degree of quality and limited quality discrepancies, showing a trend of improvement. * Identify problems in execution of standard work and request help from others on resolution. * Participate in problem solving teams to drive improvements in production performance. Skills, knowledge and abilities * Observes safety and security procedures; determines appropriate action beyond guidelines; reports potentially unsafe conditions; uses equipment and materials properly. * Proven experience in a production environment. * Must be quality conscious and possess ability to meet production and quality standards. * Ability to manage and conduct physical activities as required by the job, including standing for extended periods of time Education/Experience * Elementary school degree.
