**Job Description** 1\.0 GENERAL OBJECTIVE: Responsible for implementing and directing the execution of assigned personnel (internal or external) to meet established metrics and systems within the area, such as preventive maintenance, overtime management, accurate record keeping, follow-up on facility/equipment findings, etc., as applicable; as well as providing service to various internal customers through work orders such as fixture installations and furniture. 2\.0 RESPONSIBILITIES / FUNCTIONS: 2\.1 Leads, improves, and delegates the assignment of preventive and corrective maintenance tasks to equipment, machines, and production systems within their area of responsibility. 2\.2 Directs and appropriately delegates workload assignments, ensuring timely and proper execution of assigned work orders in accordance with established standards. 2\.3 Responsible for coordinating with the Senior Maintenance Technician—Admin regarding requisition and control of parts and materials necessary to maintain machinery, equipment, and systems in good operating condition. Also coordinates established systems for inventory control, work orders, and oversees requisition requests submitted by their assigned personnel. 2\.4 Responsible for overseeing initial training and process orientation for their area, including manual machines, blueprints, drawings, and tools used in various functions. Ensures compliance with quality standards and is accountable for adherence to and enforcement of the company's Quality policy. 2\.5 Responsible for accurate documentation in electronic and/or written logs, including corrective actions, summaries of preventive and predictive maintenance (if applicable), follow-up on findings, etc. 2\.6 Proposes, executes, coordinates, and supports continuous improvement projects at Medline (Lean Manufacturing). 2\.7 Responsible for maintaining effective and assertive communication both upward and downward within their department and with all other departments and assigned areas. Works professionally and cooperatively in carrying out job duties. 2\.8 Ensures that their team complies with the company’s safety rules, uses required protective equipment, devices, or clothing as mandated by company health and safety regulations, and reports immediately any missing or defective protective equipment or clothing to their supervisor and/or the EHS department.
