**Job Description** **Position Objective:** Responsible for operating plastic machines ensuring product compliance within specifications, along with adherence to safety, production, good documentation practices, cleanliness, and equipment maintenance standards. **Main Responsibilities:** **Organization, Planning, and Control** * Perform hourly visual inspection and functionality testing of molded components. * Operate Branson welding machines. * Operate flow testers. * Operate Printex engraving machines. * Responsible for completing machine documentation (DHR). * Verify and reset molding machines when required (previously trained). * Handle and maintain auxiliary equipment in the area (conveyor belts, sorters, grinders, etc.). * Program scales according to procedure. * Ensure component boxes contain the correct quantity of parts as per the standard pack for the part number. * Responsible for meeting established production targets based on cycle times and mold/machine cavities. * Meet productivity requirements as defined by production standards. * Comply with applicable training procedures. * Interpret drawings according to the part number. * Daily cleaning of machines and auxiliary equipment. **Communication:** * Actively contribute to teamwork. * Participate actively in meetings. * Maintain good communication with supervisor and coworkers. **Employee Relations** * Always treat coworkers with respect (values). * Promote a positive work environment. **Safety and Health** * Report unsafe conditions and participate in their correction. Encourage staff to avoid unsafe acts. * Follow company rules and policies. * Comply with the 5'S program. **Quality Systems** * Conduct hourly full-shot inspection of machines under responsibility and report defects to technician. * Ensure standard pack by performing accurate weighing. **Academic Requirements / Education:** **Education:** * Completed primary education. **Experience:** * 1 year of experience operating plastic injection machines in the medical industry. **Required Experience/Skills** **Technical Skills:** * Ability to read, write, add, subtract, multiply, and divide. * Ability to communicate component anomalies immediately during work. * Capacity to follow operational instructions assigned by the line coordinator. **Interpersonal Skills:** * Proactive. * Teamwork.
