**Job Description** **Overview:** The production operator is responsible for sorting, assembling, labeling, sealing, wrapping, and packaging various components of surgical trays as required. **Primary Responsibilities:** * The production operator is responsible for receiving the necessary components to assemble the requested kit * Comply with applicable procedures * Maintain a clean and organized work area * Leave workstations neat and clean * Participate in company-required activities and programs * Contribute to personal and company safety **Required Competencies:** * 6 months to 1 year of experience in the medical industry (desirable) * 6 months to 1 year of experience working on production lines and in clean rooms (desirable) **Skills:** * Communication * Teamwork * Proactive * Results-Oriented * Responsible **Education:** Primary or secondary school. **Job Description** **Overview:** Ensure achievement of established goals in Safety, Quality, and Production. **Key Responsibilities:** * Prioritize the safety of personnel under supervision. * Report unsafe conditions and actively participate in their correction. * Educate staff to avoid unsafe acts. * Achieve established Quality goals (zero holds, zero customer complaints). * Arrive 15 minutes before scheduled shift start time for shift handover (communication and follow-up on previous shift pending items). * Start production line on time. * Complete the daily roll assigned by supervisor (material preparation, employee check-in on Protrack, timely shift startup). * Monitor and resolve daily issues on assigned line (Line Downs = 0, C-Holds, Reworks = 0, Scale downs, Line clearance, etc.). * Be available to assist after shift if any pending tasks remain unresolved. * Implement "First In, First Out" (FIFO) practices. * Follow up on orders from previous shift. * Maintain personnel logged into Protrack and make required updates for each work order. * Adhere to standard times for each operation (diapering, component placement, sealing). * Follow established procedures (use tray for first piece, use spacer for start-end order, use cones, etc.). * Maintain continuous flow production on assigned line. * Promote teamwork. * Treat coworkers with respect at all times (values). * Foster a positive work environment. * Comply with company rules and policies. **Required Knowledge:** * Minimum 1 year of production experience * Knowledge of Quality criteria * Personnel management experience * Software skills: Office Windows: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. * AS400 knowledge * 80% English proficiency **Skills:** * Communication * Teamwork * Proactive * Results-oriented * Leadership * Ability to work under pressure **Education:** High school diploma or technical degree.
