




**General Information** * Company: Pinelli Universal S. de R.L. de C.V * Location: Durango, Mexico * Department: Sales * Position: Commercial Assistant * Reports to: Assigned Salesperson / Sales Management **About the Position** The commercial assistant at Pinelli Universal plays a key role in supporting the international sales team. Reporting directly to the assigned salesperson, the position's mission is to facilitate customer service, coordinate administrative and logistical processes, and contribute to achieving sales objectives in the export market, primarily to the United States. This role requires a combination of administrative, sales, and international trade skills, with a high level of organization and customer service. **Main Responsibilities** * Process sales transactions accurately, ensuring compliance with internal policies. * Attend to and advise customers on products, technical specifications, and available services. * Issue and follow up on orders, quotations, and special requests. * Keep sales reports and customer databases updated. * Assist in document management for export processes (commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.). * Collaborate closely with operations, logistics, and quality departments to ensure customer satisfaction. * Support the salesperson in preparing presentations, performance reports, and sales proposals. * Resolve customer inquiries and issues with a professional, empathetic, and solution-oriented attitude. * Promptly follow up on priorities established by the salesperson and sales management. **Skills and Competencies** * Clear and effective communication in Spanish and English (intermediate-advanced level required) * Proficiency in Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM/ERP SAP systems (desirable) * Customer-oriented, with proactive and service-minded attitude * Organizational skills and attention to detail for handling multiple tasks simultaneously. * Knowledge of international trade, logistics, and export documentation. * Familiarity with Incoterms, customs procedures, and regulations for exports to the U.S. * Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team * Analytical thinking to support business decision-making. **Specific Technical Knowledge of the Business** * Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems for order control, inventory, or billing. * Understanding of business mathematics, including calculation of molding factors (yields, unit conversions, costs per linear foot or board foot) * Familiarity with Pinelli Universal’s product portfolio (solid moldings, finger joint, blanks, RIP, primed board, etc.) * Understanding of molding manufacturing processes: raw material selection and preparation, finger jointing, molding, sanding, and finishing * Quality standards, labeling, packaging for export, and U.S. market packaging requirements. Profile Requirements * Technical degree or bachelor’s degree in international business, administration, foreign trade, or related field. * Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or international trade. * Written and spoken English proficiency of at least 80% * Availability to work office hours and communicate frequently with U.S. customers. * Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or exporting companies is desirable.
