DESCRIPTION **Eosol** is seeking a **Fire Protection Design Engineer (PCI – Protección Contra Incendios) – Energy**, with **minimum 3–5 years of experience** in fire protection system design for building and infrastructure projects. The candidate will be responsible for fire protection engineering development, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, safety standards, and client requirements. ### **Main Responsibilities:** * Develop fire protection system designs (detection, alarm, and suppression). * Perform hydraulic calculations for fire protection systems (sprinklers, hydrants, etc.). * Prepare calculation reports, technical specifications, and engineering reports. * Design piping networks, equipment layout, and selection of fire protection devices. * Coordinate with disciplines such as HVAC, electrical, and architecture for design integration. * Review drawings, models, and technical documentation (BIM desirable). * Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards. * Participate in design reviews and modifications per client requirements. Support risk analysis and proposals for improvement of fire safety systems. * REQUIREMENTS ### **Requirements:** * Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field. * **3–5 years of experience** in PCI system design. * Experience in hydraulic calculations and fire protection network design. * Knowledge of fire protection regulations and standards (NFPA preferred). * Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, Revit or similar). * Analytical ability and attention to detail. * Teamwork and strong communication skills. ### **Desirable:** * BIM modeling knowledge. * Certifications or courses in fire protection. * Intermediate English (technical documentation reading). * Experience in industrial, commercial, or infrastructure projects.
