**POSITION PURPOSE** Ensure that production and quality objectives for the area are met by implementing necessary actions, plans, or processes to achieve them. **ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Ensure achievement of production, quality, efficiency, safety, and manufacturing cost objectives for the area by implementing necessary actions, plans, or processes. * Motivate and assist employees in meeting production standards. * Develop and implement plans to maintain low turnover and absenteeism levels within the area. * Supervise and coordinate activities of personnel under supervision across one or more production tasks to minimize production interruptions or stoppages during working hours. * Provide operators and direct labor with guidance and direction for performing their work and developing skills through technical and administrative support. * Ensure material inventory accuracy within the area and maintain correct SAP information to support production control, including resource and time allocation per manufacturing activity, monthly cycle counts, or as otherwise required. * Report cycle count discrepancies to Shift Leader and/or Business Unit Manager. * Manage area discipline and address operator needs, collaborating with Human Resources when necessary. * Ensure timely and proper adherence to the discipline traffic-light system, as applicable. * Analyze and resolve workplace conflicts in coordination with leadership and Human Resources per internal procedures and guidelines. * Escalate and request follow-up/support to properly resolve any labor-related issue with Shift Leader, Business Unit Manager, and/or Human Resources. * Ensure compliance with dress code, Good Manufacturing Practices, and all other applicable requirements/procedures. * Track and prepare daily production reports, scrap reports, downtime reports, and hourly reports for each process and/or operation. * Coordinate with Process Order Technician to launch process orders, confirm production, and perform required reconciliations, as needed. * Ensure accurate completion of hourly reports for each process and/or operation. * Assign personnel to preventive maintenance plans, thereby managing workload and providing support. * Report maintenance needs and notifications in SAP. * Issue label requisitions according to applicable production plans to ensure timely delivery and tracking to the labeling room. * Ensure timely and accurate follow-up on all payroll-related matters (e.g., justified absences, unjustified absences, vacations, missed payments, disabilities, etc.). * Document observations or incidents in the Kardex of supervised personnel to support or track any administrative or labor-related process that may be required. * Provide instructions to trainers regarding staff training on new operations; provide direct feedback to trainers on newly hired personnel and production needs. * Complete assigned and scheduled training for this position and ensure training is completed prior to executing any new activity. * Promote feedback among supervision team members (supervisor, service operator, lead operator) and externally with QA and Engineering. * Participate in company cost-saving initiatives. * Comply with safety, hygiene, and environmental policies. * Report hazards and injuries to Immediate Leader and/or Supervisor. * Actively participate in Safety, Hygiene, and Environmental Committee and Emergency Response Brigades, if required. * Support the Safety, Hygiene, and Environment Manager with time or personnel assignments for activities related to this system, when necessary. * Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations according to established policies and procedures. * In addition to the duties described in this profile, the employee shall perform any related, complementary, or analogous activities requested by their immediate supervisor, provided they align with the nature of the position and support organizational objectives.
