**POSITION PURPOSE** Coordinates operator activities to meet production needs by managing support received from service areas to achieve production, quality, efficiency, and manufacturing cost objectives for the area, while reporting and promoting appropriate and safe behavior among staff. **ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Ensure achievement of production, quality, efficiency, safety, and manufacturing cost objectives for the area by implementing necessary actions, plans, or processes. * Develop and implement plans to maintain low turnover and absenteeism levels within the area. * Provide operators with guidance for their job performance and skill development through technical and administrative support. * Ensure material inventory in the area and information maintained in SAP are accurate and support production control, implementing plans and actions to achieve this. * Maintain discipline in the area and address operator needs. * Prepare daily production and scrap reports. * Collaborate with onboarding programs for newly hired operators. * Verify document control. * Review excess raw material inventory for return to the warehouse. * Maintain a clean and orderly work area following good cleaning practices and supervise team members’ activities. * Coordinate with the Process Order Technician for launching process orders, production confirmation, and required reconciliation, as needed. * Maintain complete communication with superiors, subordinates, and others who need to be informed. * Assign personnel to preventive maintenance plans, thereby managing workload and providing assistance. * Ensure materials or products are placed in their designated locations according to quality status. * Participate in projects, machine validation, and special operations as required. * Report maintenance activity requirements in the SAP system and create maintenance notifications. * Conduct periodic and ongoing follow-up and feedback with immediate supervisor and direct reports. * Promote feedback among supervision team members (supervisor, service operator, and lead operator), as well as with QA and Engineering outside the manufacturing area. * Report any production impacts caused by material shortages, quality issues, etc., to the immediate supervisor. * Participate in company cost-saving initiatives. * Complete assigned training for the position according to the training matrix and ensure training is completed prior to performing new tasks. * Report hazards and injuries to the Leader and/or immediate supervisor. * Comply with safety, hygiene, and environmental policies. * Actively participate in the Safety, Hygiene, and Environmental Committee and emergency response teams, as required. * Support the Safety, Hygiene, and Environment Manager with time or assigned personnel for activities related to this system, when necessary. * Attend trainings scheduled by the company. * Ensure compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements according to established policies and procedures. * In addition to the duties described in this profile, the employee shall perform related, complementary, or analogous activities requested by their immediate supervisor, provided they align with the nature of the position and support organizational objectives. Furthermore, the employee may participate in special projects when business needs require it and such participation complies with applicable legal and regulatory frameworks. **REQUIREMENTS** **EDUCATION:** Bachelor’s degree **ENGLISH:** Intermediate level **EXPERIENCE:** 3 years of SAP system knowledge.
