




Job Summary: This role is responsible for safeguarding the facility against contaminants, maintaining hygiene of canine units, conducting exercises and inspections with them, and ensuring their well-being. Safeguard the facility against contamination by prohibited substances and hazardous materials that could affect employees' physical integrity and the company's reputation. • Perform cleaning tasks in the K-9 kennel and training area to maintain an optimal, safe, and hygienic environment for canine units. • Exercise dogs daily through play and walks to ensure optimal socialization. • Conduct inspections with canines on incoming and outgoing vehicles and within company premises to detect substances prohibited by the company. • Perform hygienic cleaning activities on canines to keep them clean. • Feed the canine unit daily to maintain its health and good physical condition. • Monitor timely vaccination compliance and appropriate veterinary care to prevent illness and ensure the dog remains in good health. • Report results obtained or incidents arising to the immediate supervisor via various communication channels for follow-up. • Use training pseudo-odors appropriately while applying required precautions to avoid premature degradation and optimize resource utilization. • Maintain a positive relationship with canine units to guarantee effective teamwork and efficient outcomes. • Protect Grupo Chamberlain’s reputation by maintaining confidentiality of information. • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, building personal networks, and participating in professional associations. • Contribute to team efforts by achieving related results and participating in projects as needed. • Comply with occupational health and safety guidelines and regulations Completed high school education and/or experience in a similar position Experience: 1 year of experience in canine handling Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: • Computer system operation • Advanced knowledge of Asset Security • Customer service • Teamwork • Proactive attitude • First Aid and CPR • Evacuations • Search and Rescue • Fire Suppression • Control and Restraint Techniques • Conflict Resolution • C-TPAT • Trailer Inspection • Theoretical and practical knowledge of canine handling . -Requirements- Minimum Education: Upper Secondary Education – General High School Diploma 2 years of experience Knowledge: C-TPAT, CPR Keywords: handler, manipulator
