Syntax has offices worldwide, and partners with Oracle, SAP, AWS, Microsoft, IBM and other global technology leaders. ### **Position Summary** We are seeking an experienced **SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect specializing in Materials Management (MM)** to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of end\-to\-end SAP solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP MM processes, strong integration knowledge across other SAP modules (especially SD, PP, WM, and FI/CO), and proven experience driving digital transformation initiatives in S/4HANA environments. ### **Key Responsibilities** * Act as the **lead solution architect** for SAP S/4HANA MM, overseeing solution design, configuration, and delivery aligned with business objectives. * Define **SAP MM architecture and integration strategy** with other SAP and non\-SAP systems (e.g., Ariba, SuccessFactors, Concur). * Lead **fit\-gap analysis, blueprinting, and functional design workshops** with stakeholders and business process owners. * Translate complex business requirements into scalable, high\-performance SAP solutions. * Ensure alignment between technical design, process flows, and business requirements. * Collaborate with development teams to define enhancements, extensions, and customizations. * Support **data migration, testing strategy, and cutover activities** during implementation and rollouts. * Provide **thought leadership and best practices** for S/4HANA transformation and MM optimization. * Serve as a **trusted advisor** to clients on SAP roadmaps, emerging technologies, and continuous improvement opportunities. ### **Required Qualifications** * **Bachelor’s degree** in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field. * **8\+ years** of experience in SAP MM implementation and solution architecture roles. * **At least 2 full\-cycle S/4HANA implementations** as a Solution Architect or Lead Consultant. * Deep understanding of **procurement, inventory management, invoice verification, and material valuation**. * Strong knowledge of **integration points** with SD, PP, WM/EWM, and FI/CO. * Experience with **SAP Best Practices, Activate methodology, and Fiori applications**. * Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders. * Fluent in **English** (oral and written). ### **Preferred Qualifications** * SAP **S/4HANA certification** in MM or Supply Chain. * Experience in **global template design, rollouts, or multi\-country deployments**. * Knowledge of **Ariba integration**, **Procurement Analytics**, or **SAP BTP extensions**. * Strong leadership, analytical, and problem\-solving skills. * Experience working in **Agile or hybrid project delivery models**. ### **Soft Skills** * Strategic and solution\-oriented mindset. * Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. * Ability to work in fast\-paced, cross\-functional, and multicultural environments. * Strong mentoring and leadership capabilities. **Why Syntax?** Become a part of our success story and work in a company with exciting innovation projects that are causing a stir across the industry.
