**POSITION PURPOSE** Lead, coordinate, execute and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations regarding the acceptance/rejection activities of raw materials, components, subassemblies and finished products; as well as calibration systems, environmental systems and supplier management. **ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Ensure that the policies, regulations and standards of the quality management system defined by the organization are complied with. * Analyze and present performance results of receipt inspections, processes, non-conformities, calibrations, environmental monitoring and supplier performance (Management Review). * Respond during external audits related to the quality management system (External Audits \- Third party, Regulatory \& suppliers). * Participate in and conduct internal audits related to the quality management system (Internal Audits). * Implement the Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) process. * Ensure compliance with applicable requirements for Document and Records Control. * Ensure compliance with the defined requirements for Change Control (CCB\-Change Control Board). * Ensure compliance with the defined requirements for Supplier Control. * Coordinate, manage and ensure the non-conformance system. * Ensure adherence to work instructions for performing both incoming and in-process inspections. * Ensure risk analysis is applied within the quality management system. * Define, create and implement procedures and methods for inspection of raw materials, components, subassemblies and finished products to guarantee compliance with applicable specifications. * Ensure that only products, processes and systems that have been previously validated are accepted for final release and distribution. * Ensure effective implementation of the environmental monitoring and pest control system. * Ensure effective implementation of equipment calibration systems. * Supervise, manage, provide direction and feedback, as well as evaluate the effective execution of activities by personnel under their responsibility. * Provide necessary training to other members of the organization on the Quality Management System, Root Cause Analysis or any other regulation as required. * Complete assigned job trainings according to the training matrix, and ensure training is completed before performing a new task. * Attend trainings scheduled by the company. * Responsible for ensuring all processes and systems under their responsibility have adequate procedures and meet the company's quality control requirements. * Comply with safety, hygiene and environmental policy rules. * Actively participate in the safety, hygiene and environment committee and emergency response brigades when necessary. * Support the Safety, Hygiene and Environment Manager with time or by assigning personnel for activities related to this system when needed. **REQUIREMENTS** **EDUCATION:** Professional degree. **ENGLISH:** Advanced level **EXPERIENCE:** Minimum 5 years in quality area, experience with medical device regulations
